Meet Donald. A husband, dad to two energetic boys, and is a very busy Triathlete.
He was bitten by the triathlon bug in 2014. Nine years later Donald holds 8 Age-Group World Championship titles, eight European Championship titles and 10 British titles. He has podiumed at all distances from Sprint to Ironman.
And in one 4-week period in 2023 he won 4 world titles in his Age Group in four weeks - over the Ironman distance, 70.3, Standard and Sprint.
As you might imagine, Don prioritises recovery. Riixo are proud to have supported these phenomenal achievements and to have worked with Don on his recovery protocols.
Donald is proactive with his diet, he stretches meticulously (especially after run sessions) and invests in regular sports massage treatments. The area he finds hardest is getting enough sleep – perhaps this isn’t surprising with an active family, a busy job and a high training load.
